As a visit moves through its lifecycle in Hailo, its status changes. Here is what each status means. Scheduled — the visit is on the calendar, a caregiver is assigned, and it is ready to start. Pending assignment — the visit exists but a caregiver has not been assigned yet; your agency is still finding coverage. Cancelled — the visit was removed from the schedule (your agency, you, or the caregiver requested it) In progress — the caregiver has clocked in and is providing care right now. Pending clock out — the caregiver is finished with work but has not yet submitted the end time Completed — the caregiver has clocked out, submitted their time, and the visit record is ready for approval. Needs review — the visit was completed but has a timing issue, location flag, or missing detail that your agency is investigating. Approved — your agency has reviewed the visit and confirmed all details are correct; this visit may now be billed
