Your care information is private. Here's who can see what, and how you stay in control. Your home-care agency can see your full profile: your name, address, contact details, medical history, care needs, care plans, visit schedule, billing information, and all visit notes from your caregivers. They need this information to coordinate your care and process your invoices. The caregivers assigned to your visits can see enough to provide safe care: your name, address, care instructions, what tasks to help with during each visit, any special notes or preferences you have, and emergency contacts. They cannot see your billing information or full medical history unless it's relevant to their care tasks. When you ask your agency to invite a family member, they get access to see what you see: upcoming visits, which caregiver is assigned, visit notes, and agency messages. They cannot see billing information, your password, or make changes to your care plan. Only you and your agency can update your care. No one else can see your information. Not other clients, other caregivers, or anyone outside your care team. Your information stays private unless you specifically ask your agency to share it with someone new. You decide who has access. If you want to remove someone's access, ask your agency anytime. You can also update what information is shared—if you want your caregiver to know about a medical change, you can add that to your care notes and your agency will communicate it.
