Clock-in requires location permission and a good network connection. Here are the most common fixes. The app needs permission to access your GPS. On iPhone, go to Settings > Hailo > Location and make sure it's set to Always or While Using the App. On Android, go to Settings > Apps > Hailo > Permissions > Location and tap Allow. Try clock-in again. Make sure you have good cell signal or WiFi. Weak signal makes GPS take longer to lock on. Try moving to a different part of the home where signal is stronger. If you have little or no signal, the app will save your clock-in when you go offline and send it when you reconnect. On the Home screen, make sure you're tapping the shift card for today's visit. Check the time, client name, and address carefully. If you're looking at a past or future shift, go back and select today's scheduled visit. Your agency may restrict clock-in to start no earlier than 15 minutes before the scheduled time. If you're too early, wait until the app allows clock-in. This prevents accidental early starts. Open the App Store or Google Play Store, search for Hailo, and tap Update if one is available. Outdated app versions can have location or connection bugs. Restart the app after updating. Close the Hailo app completely and turn your phone off for 10 seconds. Turn it back on, open Hailo, and try clock-in again. This fixes many temporary connection or GPS issues. If none of these steps work, message your agency through the Messages tab or call them. Tell them…
