A recurring care plan generates many shifts following a weekly pattern. You set the client, days, times, caregiver assignment method, and publishing schedule once, then the plan automatically creates shifts for weeks ahead. Open Scheduling and choose Create schedule plan. Select the client. The plan uses the client's address, timezone, and care preferences unless you override them later. Choose recurring plan, confirm the agency timezone, and enter start and end dates. Use an end date that matches the known authorization or service term instead of creating unnecessary future visits. Select the days of the week, start time, and duration for each repeating block. Add separate blocks for different days with different times or tasks. If dates don't follow a weekly pattern, use custom dates instead. Use Atlas picks to compare eligible caregivers, pick one yourself, or leave it open for coverage. Add a backup caregiver when appropriate. Verify availability, credentials, travel distance, and continuity with the client before confirming. Review the location and entry instructions from the client file. Confirm care preferences, pets, smoking, and safety notes. Update the client record first if information should apply to all future visits. Select the payer and review client billing rate and caregiver pay rate.
