Caregivers use the Hailo app to find shifts, clock in and out, track their pay, and communicate with your agency. Their app is mobile-first and includes only the features they need to provide care and manage their work. When a caregiver opens the app, the Home tab displays their next scheduled shift prominently at the top with the client name, time, and service address. Below that are any announcements or alerts from your agency. The caregiver can tap the next shift card to open it and begin clock-in when they arrive at the client's location. The Plans tab shows all their scheduled shifts in a list or calendar view. Caregivers can scroll through upcoming weeks to see all their assigned work. Each shift displays the client name, date, start time, duration, and service address. They can tap any shift to see full details including care tasks, client instructions, and any notes from your agency. When the caregiver is ready to start a visit, they tap Clock in from the shift detail screen. The app requests location permission (for EVV verification), records their GPS location and exact time, and marks the visit as in progress. While working, they can check off care tasks listed in the visit plan and add notes. When finished, they tap Clock out. The app records the clock-out time and location and shows a summary of their recorded duration before they submit. The Messages tab opens a direct message thread with your agency.
